Sunday is "Children's Day" in many' Sunday ; schools of the city. True to custom, the programs arranged present ample opportunity for the songs and exercises of the children in the primary and junior departments, especially. Several Sunday schools presented programs appropriate to the occasion last Sunday. One or two other Sunday schools will not offer the usual features of the day until a week or two. It seems, however, that the second Sunday in June is the day most generally observed. It is the practice, according to reports, to take up special collections for mission work of the respective denominations. Often the totals are very large. Reid Memorial.
