FOND MOTHERS WILL EXHIBIT BABIES AT HAGERSTOWN JUNE 16 HAGERSTOWN, lnd.. June 8. A baby exhibit will be held at the Christian church June 1C. The County , Tied Cross nurse will be in charge of the contest. Several Visit Mooreland. Several from here attended the Decoration day services at Mooreland. Sunday. Among them were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Heath. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Frantz. Dr. and Mrs. O. M. Deardorff and family. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Sells returned Sunday from California, after being pone several months. They will return to California. Mrs. A. A. Fritz was hostess to the Woman's History club at her home on Xorth Perry street Monday afternoon. The members responded to roll call with interesting items on "Our Lakes. ' Mrs. Laura Gebhart read an article on "Frank V Woolworth," and the hostess read an interesting article. Vellet Benbow went to Indianapolis Tuesday. Dr E. Gardner and grand-daughter, liunice Wine, went to Richmond Tuesday.
HOLD ELMER FULTON PENDING AUTO PROBE
Elmer Fulton. 25 years old, of near New Paris, O.. was arrested by police officers Tuesday afternoon and is being held pending an investigation of a stolen car which he is said to have had in his possession. Police state that the many contradictory stories told by Fulton appear to involve him in the theft of a machine belonging to Clarence Jeffries, of Hollansburg. Jeffries' car was stolen on March 16 and no trace of it was found until a few days ago. It was finally located in the possession of Fulton, police say. Thf wheels, and body had been changed and the numbers on 'the car battered in an effort to disguise the car, it is stated. Fulton admitted the ar he had bHonged to Jeffries and turned it over to him, although he maintains he did not sul it. Charges of grand larceny were filed against him by Prosecutor Beckett. Wednesday morning in Wayne circuit court.
HUNGARIAN PACT RATIFIED. PARIS. Juno 8. The peace treaty with Hungary, which was signed June 4. 1920. in the Trianon palace, at Versailles, and is known as the "treaty of Trianon," was ratified Tuesday by the Chamber of Deputies The vote on ratification was 478 in favor to 74 against.
