SENATOR MAY RESIGN TO ACCEPT STATE JOB WILMINGTON. Del., May 25. Governor Denney today announced appointment of United States Senator Josiah O. Wolcott as chancellor of Delaware. In event of his confirmation by the state senate he will resign from the United States Senate, and lhe Governor would fill the vacancy by appointment Senator Wolcott's term expires March 3, 1923. He is a Democrat. Governor Denney is a Republican.

TRUCK STRIKES CAR; L DRIVER CUT, BRUISED Slight " injuries were sustained by William Miller Tuesday afternoon, when the car in which he was riding collided with one of Reed's large trucks at Eleevnth and South A .'streets.- Mrr . Miller was riding with Dr. AO.-Maxtini. He tried to climb from the car, 'a witness said, when he .saw the collision was unavoidable. 'He was thrown to the ground. 1 Reed's truck, weighing 4,100 pound?, was going west on South A street. Dr. Martin's car was running north on South Eleventh street. The impact of the collision turned the Martin car completely around and threw , it against a tree on the northwest t corner. Cuts from broken glass were sustained by the driver of, the Ree-1 car. Dr. Martin's car was damaged ;about the fenders, right wheel and one door.; r .
