SERVICE MEN URGED TO ACQUIRE MEDALS All persons entitled to victory med als are being urged to secure these before Memorial Day, according tc word received from Captain. F. S. Lindley, of Summltrille, who has the distribution of the medals in charge. The government expects to issue 3.500,000 of these medals to persons wl:c ?aw service between the dates of Aprii 6, 1917 and November 11, 1918, and whoose service was honorable. Medals are awarded to "all officers, contract surgeons, field clerks, nurses, marines, sailors and enlisted men. Ap plication can be made through Cap tain Lindley at Summitville. It is necessary to submit a discharge oi sworn copy of a discharge to accompany application. Those applying ar asked to state the capacity in which the person was serving at the date ol discharge. Ministers Will Boost Evangelism Monday Members of the evangelistic com mittee of the Ministerial association will be in charge of the regular meet ing Monday morning. While the Rev H. S. James, chairman of the commit tee, said Saturday that no definite pro gram was prepared ior tne meeting he expressed the opinion that the ses sion would be a booster one.
