HUNT, PREBLE COUNTY - AUDITOR, PREDICTS DECREASED VALUES
EATON, O.. April 29. That Preble county's personal .tax duplicate will ; show a decreased valuation of at least $3,000 000 this year, as compared with last year, is estimated by County Auditor S. C. Hunt. He bases his estimate on the fact that 15 returns, selected at random from the 12 townships and a like number from seven Tillages, show a total loss of $91,640, as compared with last year, the townships showing a loss of $70,290 and the Tillages a loss of $21,350. The time limit for filing Toluntary personal tax returns expires Saturday night, after which penalties will attach and the $100 exemption clause will be Toid. . Car Stolen Thursday. Some time after 2 o'clock Thursday morning a coupe belonging to Frank
Markey, local rural mail carrier, was stolen from his garage in the rear of his home. The car is a 1921 model, number 4,550,056, and carried Ohio license No. 342,298. Markey offers $25 for arrest of the thief and $25 for recovery of the car. Many Junior Clubs. Fifteen organizations for boys' and girls' club work have been found in Preble county by County Agent E D. Turner. It is probable additional clubs will be formed. The boys' clubs will raise pigs and

Agent Turner states that the limit for enrollment for club work has been extended to May 6. County Clubs to Meet. Annual meeting of the Preble County Woman's Federated clubs will be held here May 11.
