upon It was enormous. The excellence of the story for motion picture purposes, however, and especially its wonderful adaptability for the talents, charm and power of expression of Alice Joyce, prevailed upon Albert E. Smith, president of Vltagrapb, to meet the . demands. Therefore. "Cousin Kate" has been visualized as an Alice Joyce special production and is now showing at theMurray theatre. Originally "Cousin Kate" was a comedy in four acts, much of the action being related In the dialogue instead of being shown.: As a motion picture play, however, all the action Is shown in nearly 350 scenes. The production was directed by Mrs. Sidney Drew. MURRETTE. Another opportunity will be afforded tonight to those. who have been unable to see George Walsh, the Fox star, in his latest production, "Dynamite Allen," at the Murrette Theatre, where it has been playing to crowded houses. There are thrills, sensational feats, a charming love story, and above all, the play is absolutely clean and wholesome. It presents the star at his best and his best is well worth while for any one who likes a good drama interpreted with taste and skill. MURRAY VAUDEVILLE. Plunging directly into a brief account of the Murray vaudeville acts playing the last half of the bill this week, the following high spots are touched: Tom Brown's Indians headline the bill, but come second in the opinion of the audience. The "Jada Trio," three lads in sailor uniform make the hit. During their stay they hesitate at nothing likely to entertain. They are as three clowns from an enterprising circus. The fact that Tom Brown's indians are a bit won below the copper exter ior, proves no barrier to the tooting of "mean" notes from the muzzles of those six saxophones. The comedy would go better were the stolid masks under which those "injuns" retreat, broken for a stray moment. The act 4 .a .uP SPECIAL Men's Trousers '6
