Mrs. Belle ingersoll Answers Death's Call LIBERTY, Ind., April 25. Mrs. Belle Ingersoll, 59 years old, of near I-iiberty, died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Bowman, of Parker, Ind.,' following an attack of heart disease. She bad gone to that place to take medical- treatment. Survivors are her husband. Leander Ingersoll, assessor for Harrison township, two daughters, Mrt-. Maud Husted, of near Liberty, ami Mrs. Alpha Bowman, of Parker, and one sen, William, of Akron, O. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Hanna's Creek church, conducted by Rev. Fred Stovenour. of Portland, O. Burial in West Point cemetery. APPEAL TO RELIEF IN LAUNCHING DRIVE : TO RELIEVE STARVING Relief for the starving and suffering of China and Armenia is the plea of the Wayne county relief committee, which opened its county campaign for funds, Monday morning. The drive is to continue for two weeks. Contributions should be mailed or taken to tbo Chamber of Commerce headquarters in the K. of P. buildjng. To the appeal that was made last year, there has been added that of China. Action is necessary at once to save lives, according to Mrs. A. W. Roach, county chairman of the two reliefs. Reports on conditions in Arme. nia read: TThe end of the war found the remnants of the Armenian people herded in refugee camps crowded underground in cities struggling alone highways robbed, homeless and destitute. A portion of them found refuge in the Russian Caucasus, where, during the Russian Revolution was farmed : tbe small republic, of Armenia which held tbe allied, line- against Turkish advance. Sister Mary Eloise Dies on Chinese Mission, Message Sister Mary Eloise, one of the five sisters who departed last October for China with Sister 'Marie Gratia, formerly instructor at St. Mary's Catholic school hereT died there a few days ago. says a message received here today from St Mary's of the Woods at Terre Haute. Sister Marie Gratia is superior of the group of five who departed for mission work in China. No details were given regarding the cause of the death of Sister Mary Eliose.
