Providing weather conditions are favorable the game will start at 2:45 o'clock. Several new faces will be seen in the Eagle line-up this season. Re-organization of tha old Cambridge City Grays baseball team has- been perfected and the club is ready to opn the season against ' the Greenfield American Legion nine on the local diamond next Sunday. A stock company known as the Cambridge City Exhibition company has been organized to finance the baseball team. A new park has been constructed with new grandstand and bleachers. The diamond has been skinned r.nd carefully prepared so as to be in the best condition possible for the initial game. The team which will taJce tho field Sunday in the opening contest is composed of local men. AH have had experience oa various teams in the county and the management of the Grays hopes to have a team that will be in the race for county honors before the season has advanced far. LEAGUE BASEBALL POSSIBILITY REVIVED Possibility of league baseball was revived here according to information given out Friday by Elmer Eggemeyer. The proposed league is to be composed of cities from Pennsylvania. Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana. The league Is being organized by Joe Carr. of Columbus, O. Acco'rling to the letter received here the following teams have been assured of a berth in the league: Canton, Dayton, Springfield, O.; Wheel ing, v. Va., and Richmond. The foli lowing cities have been offered franchises: Sharon. Erie and Scranton. Pa.. Akron and Youngstown, O. Mr. Eggemeyer stated that he had answered Mr. Carrs letter today and stated that Richmond was ready to enter such a league if all the regular requirements of forming such a league meet the requirements of the - local club.
