In the first place, he would have a large support from the Democrats. In the second place, he has, for the present, the power of patronage; comparatively few of the offices have yet been filled. In the third place, he probably would have the support of the lower house of congress. In any test of strength between the white house and the senate, the lower house would tend strongly to support the white house. (Copyright, 1921, by The New York Evening Post, inc.) CHURCHES

Instead each Sunday . school superintendent will make the announcement in his own church. It was explained that the hour of 4 o'clock was chosen for the week-day afternoon meetings because school and college students will have an opportunity to attend at that time. President David M. Edwards, of Earl ham, has arranged for Dr. Honline to appear for 13 minutes Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at the college. Principal Bate, of the high school, has announced that Dr. Honline will speak to high school students at chapel exercises Tuesday morning. Public is Invited Although Dr. Honline is being brought here by the City Sunday School association for the benefit of city Sunday school work, it does not mean that Sunday schools workers only are invited.
