He lost his mother In early boyhood. He was born tJ years ago in lts tattler a present i home at His-r s station, and spent his ! boyhood and youth among rural roundinzs. In h's early manhood the enchanting call of the city fell sweetly upon his ears. He went. His occupation took him into the larger cities of the middle west. He married, established a home and reared a family of two daughters. On nearing middle life, the happy rollicking, boyhood remembrances of the freedom, privilege and charm of tle country could no longer be staved. THIS WAS HIS WAY OF LIFE '"I expect to pass thru this world but once. Any good therefore, that I can do. or any kindness that I can show, to any fellow being, let mo do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for 1 shall not pass this way again." He returned to the country, after remarriage, re-establishing a supremely contented happy home on a portion of the land of his father. Into this cheerful, pleasant home, the relentless and sure hand of death reached, and with'out any warning, carried him quietly and quickly from his cheerful and faithful wife: from his sorrowing relatives; from his kind and obliging neigh bors; from his faithful and cherished friends; and from his friendly benev olent, charitable brother Knights of ! Kytnia lodge No. 9 carrfed him into the life beyond. In the seeming, untimely death of George, he leaves to mourn his loss an aged, faithful, courageous father who has lived in his neighborhood for the last three quarters of a century and more; a middle aered loving and kindhearted mother: a loving and sorrow ing, wife: two charming adult daughrs. Hazel and Patti, artists or rec ognized standing the world of photoplays, living in Los Angeles, California: three brothers, Scott, a professor in the manual training high school of Indianapolis; Ben. a traveling salesman In Indiana and Michigan, with headnuarters In Indianapolis: Park, a business employee of the Nordyke & Marmon Co.. of Indianapolis: Ruth. a sister, making her home with her parents: and aunts. Mrs. Rebecca Hosier of Harrison ton-nshlp: Mrs. Sarah Boyer of Atlanta, 11.; Mrs. Eliza Bradley' f Prankton; Mrs. Margaret Can ad .y Tharp of Kokomo and Mrs. Mollie Hiser Huddleston of Cambridge Citv. THIS WAS HIS VIEW OP LTFE "Have you had a kindness show? Pass It on. 'Twas not given for you alone Pass it on. Let it travel down the years. Let it wipe another's tears, Till in heaven the deed appears Pass it on." April 1. 1921. Brief funeral services for the late George A. Hiser. of Hiser's Station, were, conducted hv Knisrhts of Pythias Lodge No. 9 of Cambridge Citv at the deceased residence Thursday night hv the Chancellor Commander and selected group of brothers.
