WANY NEW MEASURES PROPOSED AS OHIO ASSEMBLY NEARS END "COLtJMBUS, O., April 1. In this ? calendar day, supposed to mark the f(?proach of tnG end of the sessions of 'the Ohio general assembly, more than two dozen new bills, many of them ' proposing radical changes in legal principles, were proposed. It was near 2 o'clock Thursday morning before the house of representatives recessed "for five minutes," after adopting a resolution asking the penate for formal leave to quit until April 18. This was granted grudgingly this afternoon and the handful of members present in the house then left for their homes. The senate remained in session during the afternoon and night, planning a short session Friday. It will continue through next week, and possibly) Part of the following week before it demit until 'April 18. t At the conclusion of hearings on th Davis reorganization "ripper" the senate re-organization committee planned to go over amendments providing for a test between Governor Harry L Davis and the senate, backed by th public utility interests and the manu facturers. - . To Free Cambridge Man After 60 Day Sentence J. J. Richardson, Cambridge City man, who was sentenced to the penal farm by Mayor Elliott at Newcastle for violation of the hquor laws, will gain his freedom after serving the 60 days' sentence at the penal farm. Richardson was fined $100 and costs, totaling $130, and local authorities believed he would have to serve a total of 190 days for want of money to pay the fine. His wife, however, has paid the $130 and a letter was then sent to

the penal farm officials instructing them to release the man after the expiration of his 60 days sentence.
