FOR INTENSIVE WORK Preliminary tryouta for the Earlham track team were held Thursday afternoon with the result that 21 men were chosen to return to school three days pearly In order that they may receive a full week's training before the opening meet of the season with Indiana university on April 16. C. on the Twigs alleys Thursday night The Wilson Cleaners who are in second place, can only come within two games of the Meats if th Meats lose all three games and the Cleaners win all three games next week, which will mark the close of the season. Maher rolled . the high score of 206, and Ray high average of 185. The Wilson Cleaners trimmed the "Hill Laddies two out of three games and have to win only one game next week to remain in second place. Sherer and Bennett carried off honors for high score with a 216 score each, while Bennett captured the high average of the evening with a 199 average. The Lee Tires forfeited three games to the Feltman Tramps who rolled three good games. Mayers rolled high score of the evening of 225, and Morarity high average of 195. Maher Meats.
