EARTHQUAKE IN ALBANIA KILLS 200; DESTROYS HOMES OF 18,000 PERSONS
Photos show (above) a temporary shelter made by one family from debris at Elbassan and (below) scene of desolation at Tepelene. The worst earthuake in many generations recently wiped out th villages of Tepelene and Elbassan, Albania. Two hundred persons were killed, 2.0C0 homes destroyed and 18,000 persons made homeless. These photos give some idea of the ruin and desolation caused by the quake.
