effort to end their seasonwitn,a victory. Strenuous practice was held Tuesday evening by the Maroon and White, although the Quaker mentor was absent in order that he might witness the Butler-Franklin contest la-st night. A light workout will be givpn Wednesday evening and preparation will be completed for meeting the Franklinites. The Quakers defeated the Thurberltes in their first encounter this year and should be able to repeat the trick even with a crippled lineup.
