GREENVILLE FARMER DISAPPEARS; FOUL PLAY IS SUSPECTED
. - j GREENVILLE. Feb. 22. Residents of this vicinity are mystified over the strange- disappearance of Roscoe Best, well known farmer and cattle raiser, froms hia borne near the Concord church on the Milton pike, four miles southeast of this city. Friday night Mr. Best left home In his car, stating that he was coming to Greenville to purchase some groceries, and has not been heard of since. Local police were notified early Saturday morning after he failed to return home, and it was found that he had not been in this city. Relatives in this city also stated that he had not visited them Friday evening. Mr. Best's wife and family advance the theory that he has met with foul play, as he has never stayed away from home all night without notifying them. He is supposed to have had a large sum of money on his person when he left home, as he had sold his stock a few days previous, which makes the theory that he had met with foul play more plausible :n the eyes of the authorities. The missing man is 46 years of age and is well known throughout the entire county, through his numerous deals in cattle and other live stock. No trace of either Mr. Best or the car in which he drove away Friday night had been found up to Sunday. Estate Sold at Auction. Nine properties of the Katzenberger estate were sold at public auction here Saturday afternoon for a total sum of $52,500. Mr. Katzenberger reserved the riht to pay the bidder, $5 and retain the property if the amount was rot satisfactory, and exercised this option on one property, a residence in this city. The properties consisted of a farm, lots, residences and a business building, all in Darke county. Request Improvement Delay. At a hearing of the position for the construction of the Harris Creek ditch, located in Richland and Adams townships, held before the Darke county
board of commissioners in this city Friday, the petitioners asked that the building of the improvement be delayed until 1922. The reason for the delay was given as the high cost of labor and materials at the present time. The request was granted by the commissioners on condition that the petitioners pay the expenses of surveying, etc., already incurred, amounting to a little over $300. It is thought, that there will be little or no difficulty in raising this sum, as the petitioners are all in favor of the postponement for another year. Fire Truck Purchased. The village council on the Ohio side in Union City, at a meeting held last Fridav night, awarded the contract for a new fire truck to'W. C. Mayl, Greenville man. A controversy of long standing between the village councils of the Indiana and Ohio sides in Union City regarding the use of fire equipment, developed into an open break a short time ago. and the Ohio side advertised or bids on a fire truck. The truck purchased by the council of Mr. Mayl is similar to the one sold by him to the Arcanum village council a short time ago. Union City business men predict a decrease in insurance rates as a result of the double tire apparatus for the village. Two Fires in One Hour. Two alarms within an hour both coming from the same place, were answered recently by the Greenville fire department. The roof of the residence of Walter Riggs. Washington Avenue, ignited from sparks, which were flying from the chimnoy. The blaze was extinguished after a small hole had been burned in the roof. After returnine to the city building, the depart
ment was again called to put out another blaze which had started in a
different i-irt of the same roof. The loss caused by both fires is small. Dayton Company Wins Suit. The John Buning company, of Dayton was awarded a verdict in the sum of $1,097.28 against the Purity Pre
serving company ot Greenville, in tommon pleas court here Saturday. Suit had been brought for $2,985 and inlerest, alleged to be due the plaintiff for food products sold to the local company. The jury deliberated several hours Friday night and Saturday morning before agreeing on the verdict.

A man may be a jrreat success in "good times" when the going is easy, but a COMPLETE FAILURE IN "HARD TIMES" the man worth while is the man who can face the great depression of "hard times" WITH A SMILE and still win. The constant worry, anxiety, stress and nervous strain that a man is under in "hard times" often saps his vitality, WEAKENS HIS BRAIN AND "WILL POWER" and takes the life and driving force out of his blood, without his fully realizing what has happened to him he knows SOMETHING IS WRONG, that he is not GETTING AHEAD as he should, but he doesn't know why. IF YOUR BANK BALANCE IS NOT UP TO THE MARK; if things are not coming, your way; look into your physical condition. YOUR BRAIN CANNOT WORK RIGHT think the thoughts that bring SUCCESS when YOU LACK BODILY AND MENTAL VIGOR a great business man has said that genius is nothing but a capacity for hard work a wizard is generally a man who thinks longer and harder than the other fellow that "indefinable something"' that wins is often nothing more than an "IRON WILL" supported by IRON BLOOD. IRON IS THE MASTER PRINCIPLE OF THE BLOOD and blood is life. It is the iron in your blood that carries oxygen to your brain. Without iron your brain gets no oxygen. Without oxvgen your brain becomes dull and heavy; it cannot think right; YOU MAKE BAD DECISIONS; DO FOOLISH THINGS; YOUR INTELLECT IS POOR; YOUR memory often fails no matter how smart you may be by nature, in your weakened physical and mental condition. YOU ARE certainly NO MATCH for the STRONG, KEEN, CLEAR HEADED MAN with plenty of iron in his blood. Although you may give two men the same fire arms or swords in a battle, the strong, vigorous fellows always has a decided advantage over a weak, tired-out opponent.
WITHOUT IRON YOUR BLOOD ALSO LOSES ITS POWER TO CHANGE FOOD INTO LIVING CELLS AND TISSUE and nothing you eat does you the proper amount of rood you do not (ret the full strength out of it. In fact, sometimes the more you eat the more you starve, aa your digestive organs are unable to handle much food w hen your blood lacks iron and you often think you have stomach trouble, when it isn't that at all. Simply eat less and take iron. There are 80,000.000.000,000 Red Blood Corpuscles in your blood and each one must have iron. DONT TRY TO "FOOL YOURSELF" into thinking you are a man . of "blood and iron" when you have gwd reason to suspect that you are not consider THE SIZE OF" YOUR BANK BALANCE? what success you have had in life A MAN IS ONLY FART OK A MAN WHEN HIS BLOOD LACKS IRON. ;.-n When you get up feesins; tired in the mornlnsj, when you find yourself nervous, irritable ' And easily upset; when you can no longer do your day's work without being all flagged out
at nisht; or have pains across the back and your face looks pale and drawn, do not wait until you go all to pieces and collapse in a state of nervous prostration or until in your weakened condition you contract some serious disease, but take some organic iron likcNUXATED IRON at once to helpenrich your blood and revitalize your wornout, exhausted nerves. Organic Nuxated Iron often increases the bodily and mental vigor of weak, tired, wornout nervous people, in two weeks' time. It's like the iron In your blood and like the iron in spinach, lentils and apples. You can even eat it if you wish. It will not blacken or injure the teeth nordisturb the stomach. It is entirely different from ordinary metallic iron which peuple usually take, and which is made merely by the action of strong acids on small pieces of iron. Beware of substitutes. Look for the word "NUXATED" on every package and the letters N.I. on every tablet. Your money will be refunded by manufacturers if you do not obtain perfectly satisfactory results. Atalldruggists.
