WINCHESTER. Ind., Feb. 19. A very interesting and helpful trip was taken Thursday by the Senior class of the Winchester high school, accompanied by Prof. O. B. Baker. Thilip Kabel and Miss Katef Baker, when they went to Indianapolis to attend a session of the house of representatives and the senate. They met the gov.ernor and also visited the Indiana historical commission. Indiana state library, state museum, appellate court, Indianapolis clearing house and Burford's printing establishment. Consider School Addition. The public meeting held by the taxpayers of White River township, at the McKinley school building, was largely attended Thursday night. An addition has been proposed to the McKinley school building. Most of the patrons are in favor of an addition, but many object to a gymnasium. E. B. Wetherow, state high school inspector, made an address.

The Missionary society of the Friends church met Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. L. M. Mills.

Hearts were pinned on the backs of the guests as they entered, upon each heart was written the name of a participant in a wedding ceremony. At the close of the evening this ceremony was callied out. A wedding supper was then served consisting of the refreshments prepared for the social. Mrs. Thena Lashley is having her lot filled, preparatory to erecting a new residence as soon as weather permits.
