Seek Amendment. -Suit on claim has been filed by Claud Riddlebarger vs. Lucinda Riddlebarger, and a suit to annul marriage was filed by Thanie E. Kendall vs. Henry G. Kendall. Missionary Treasurer. :Thc Woman's Home Missionary society of the First Methodist church i met Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. I. E Brenner. Miss Kale Baker has returned from a short visit in Indianapolis, Favors Home Rule. -Ml trustees except one. were present at a meeting held by the Randolph County Board of Education. Tuesday when they went on record as favoring bom rule in tax levies and bond issues, and opposed them being left in the bands of the state tax board. They were also favorable to a change being made in the cleaning and repairing of ditches. The funds therefore to be obtained by general taxation. At this time the board, closed a contract with Roscoe Fields1 to become agricultural agent for Randolph county. Arrested For Desertion. Charles Burke who was arrested Saturday by Sheriff Lundy Fisher, on ? charge of wife desertion, was returned to Detroit by an officer who bad come from that city. - V Venue Two CacM. . Miss Ethel Peacock was killed when a west, bound traction car, hit the automobile in which John A. Roberts of near Lynn and Miss Peacock were riding, at the Jaqua crossing, west of the city.
