Ohio Students Form Coop Book Store COLUMBUS, O., Dec 20. The high cost of text books will not mean anything in the lives of students at Ohio State University here, if a plan to organize a co-operative text book store, to sell texts at cost, goes through. The Men's Student Council, and R, M. Royer, purchasing agent at the university are working on the plan, and soon a stock campaign will be launched on the campus. Students, faculty members and alumni will be solicited to buy stocK, which will sell at 15 a share, and the holdings be limited to five shares a person. J. P. Geiger, student chairman of tho committee in charge of the undertaking, is responsible for the statement that the books will be sold at absolute cost. "The store is to be co-operative in every sense of the word," he said. The appointment of a manager from outside the university. This will prevent any friction, it is felt Students, however, will be employed to assist in be store.
