Salvador Will Adopt j Standard Time, Jan. 1 (By "Associated Press) SAN SALVADOR. Republic of Sal vador, Dec. 18. Adoption of standard time in Salvador ; beginning Jan. L 1921, was announced In a government decree Issued today. Heretofore, Sal vador time has been approximately 3! minutes slower than Washington time, but under the decree it will be one hour behind, which will make the tim in Salvador the same as central tim in the United States. An effort 1 being made to induce other central Atner icon governments to take a similar step.
