WASHINGTON. Dec. 17. A nation

wide poll of the members of the American Legion to determine which particular benefit of the pending bonus till the members would choose under the optional feature of the bill probably -will result from demand of the senate finance committee for an estimate of the Immediate financial obligation to the country should the bill be passed. Sentiment of the committee for such, ft poll was expressed at a hearins to-

day at which the legislative committeeof the Legion appeared to urge immediate action on the bonus bill by the senate. The finance committee had ordered the hearing on , the theory , that in working out a plan for tax ievis!on it must have some good idea or the possible obligations of the nation In the next two or three rears. His family had spent the day with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moses Keever, and were there when Mr. Keever first saw the blaze. They reached their home too late to save anything. "Which Player Action Goes Gulbransen?" "Don't Know

Into the LowestrPricecl Said the Factory Man

Easy to Play

You've heard of the Gulbransen. Everybody knows the little Baby at the Pedals. But perhaps you don't know the Baby is something more than a trade mark. It is the picture of an incident that has happened in thousands of homes a suggestion of the outstanding quality of the Gulbransen "Easy to Play." The moment your feet touch the pedals of this amazing instrument you realize you are playing a different sort of player-piano -from any you ever played before. It just gets into sympathy with you, helps you, inspires you to play like a true musician. You do not have to pump hard or pedal fast Gulbransen exquisite "pedal-touch" is so delightfully restful, yet you can "just make this piano talk," it is so responsive. Nationally Priced Think a minute. You realize that ability to give best value depends on big volume and small profits. The Gulbransen is the product of the greatest player-piano factory in the world making nothing but Player-Pianos, under only one name, and with a capacity of 30,000 instruments annually. Quality standardization has been kept up as in no other factory. And to secure volume, "Brass Tacks" price standardization is a fixed policy. Gulbransen prices must be on a "Brass Tacks" basis because they compete with all sorts of player-pianos at all sorts of prices all over the U. S. This "is the final proof that we give you best value. Three models, all playable by hand and by roll, sold at the eame prices to everybody everywhere in the U. S., freight and war tax paid. White House Model, $750 Country Seat Model, $660 Suburban Model, $595

ULBRANSEN

Player-Piano

OUR buyer was inspecting the great Gulbransen Player-Piano plant. He came to the Player Action Department. He was investigating quality, so he asked " which pi these actions go into the Lowest-Priced Gulbransen and which into the highest priced?" The head factory man answered "I don't know".' Then he explained: The action is the heart of a Player-Piano. It is the Gulbransen policy to build such important parts as well as they know how for all models. Therefore all actions are of equal . quality the highest possible and there is no difference in action quality between the Highest and the'Lowest-Priced Gulbransen. There's "Brass Tacks" Value for You! ye Jo not have to tell you that any Player-Piano built to ( "sell at a price" can't compare with this Lowest-Priced Gulbrani sen. The Gulbransen plant gets the price down through standardization and big production. That, plus the determination of the manufacturer and ourselves, to accept much less than usual margins on this LowestPriced Gulbrapsen that is what makes it the wonderful "Brass Tacks" value it is today. THIS WEEK we are showing a special selection of unusually handsome cases of the Lowest-Priced Gulbransen- genuine Mahogany, Burl Walnut, three kinds of Oak, satin and mirrorpolish finishes chosen for this " Brass Tacks" Sale. TODAY AND TOMORROW we are demonstrating the famous Martin Method instruction rolls, prepared for the Gulbransen Player by John Martin, the concert player-pianist. These rolls show you how your playing of the Gulbransen can be made to sound like expert hand -playing and it's easy! Come and hear.
