Starting tomorrow, Thursday morning, promptly at S:00 o'clock, the entire stock of this store will be offered to the shoe-buying public of this city and vicinity at price reductions ranging as high as 33 1-3 per cent. This announcement no doubt comes as a surprise to our many customers and friends, but the facts are that we have decided to dissolve partnership, and before the final day of severing business relations . come we are going to sell our big stock of the highest quality footwear on the market today at prices in many instances below actual cost of the merchandise. Nevertheless, w ; are going to take our losses, which no dpubt mean gains for you. This stock must be reduced to normal in order to enable the remaining member of the firm to carry on the business on a paying and profitable basis, and this would be an impossibility so long as he would ba forced to carry such a tremendous stock of high-priced merchandise. As to who will take over the business, that has not at this time been definitely decided. This sale i3 being conducted solely for the reasons set forth above, and every article will positively be sold exactly as advertised. The sale will continue until the present stock is reduced to its normal size. It is also to be expressly understood that no charges or exchanges will be made during sale. -: " '
