It gives us great pleasure to announce that after months of preparation, after combing all the great Furuiture

manufacturers for all that is new and good in home furnishings, we are ready for our Formal Opening in our new home with the largest and most interesting exhibit of furniture it has ever been our good fortune to show. The special day set for this Formal Opening is Wednesday 9 November 17th:

2 to 5 o'clock Afternoons

Continuing One Week

7 to 9 o'clock -- Evenings

Visitors will be welcome and be shown throughout our entire building. The entire Romey Staff will be pleased to show you around discuss the various features of our modern building, and the qualities of the displays offered for your approval. During the week we will give many large and expensive gifts to those who attend our reception and opening of our new home. An Unusual Achievement is this Grand Opening

To be able to gather together under one roof such a wonderful variety of the new designs in furniture is a notable achievement. Overcoming many difficulties, from securing merchandise from factories , already heavily oversold, to getting this merchandise through in spite of the freight congestion among the railroads, we have used every effort known.

Now, however, success has crowned our efforts and we throw open our doors, inviting the people of this city, and the surrounding country, to come in and feast their eyes on what we believe to be the most interesting and impressive exhibit of furniture ever staged in this" city.

Fashions in Home Furnishings are now Considered as Important as in Dress

No longer can those of us who value our prestige in the community limit our interest in "style" to articles of wearing apparel only! Nowadays the furnishings of one's home are recognized as also expressing personality and individuality, and modern designs in furniture permit this in the widest possible range. Time was when homes were nearly all furnished pretty much alike. However, by adapting the famous period designs of the Old World masters to modern methods of construction and finish, period style furniture has been brought within the reach of every home and there .is a design to appeal to the individual taste of every home owner.

Parents realize the necessity of making the home attractive to their young people in order to keep them in the home, and with this 'in mine) we invite all parents to bring their sons and daughters to this wonderful exhibit of furniture so that a desire for the good things in life may be strengthened in them and they may be inspired with the ambition to possess such things.
