One (1) Surface Condenser and auxiliaries. One (1) 75 kilowatt, motor generator Exciter Unit. Two forms of proposals will be considered: (a) For the entire contract, including all and every kind of apparatus, equipment, material and labor required to furTlish, erect, install and deliver to the City of Richmond, Indiana, the apparatus and equipment named above in complete and successful operation. (b) For all or any part of the apparatus named delivered and erected ready for piping and electrical connections, upon foundations to be built by said city. Certified check equal in amount to five (5) per cent of the largest amount bid by the contractor must accompany each proposal, and a failure of the successful bidder to enter into such contract and bond upon the acceptance of such proposals will forfeit the check and the sums of money payable thereon to the city as agreed and liquidated damages for such failure. Each bidden shall be required to accompany bis bid with the non-collusion affidavit as required by law. Contract will be awarded at the earliest practicable date after open ing of bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids; or to waive any informality in apy proposal and to award-contract to the lowest and -best or any other than the lowest bidder. The successful bidder will be required to give a bond with surety to be approved by the Board, insuring the faithful completion of said work according to the contract. Roscoe will engage - in farming Dewitt Wilson, residing west of Liberty, was taken ill wih appendicitis last Friday. His condition grew worse and he was taken to the Fayette memorial hospital at Connersville Saturday morning and underwent an operation the -same day. He is getting along nicely under th care or Dr. Gordon, of Alquina.... Our neighboring hamlet. Alquina. was made lively with a masquerade social Friday night. All enjoyed themselves fine Clarence Sanford and Leto Toole, of Cottage Grove, were - married last week. Congratulations and best wishes are extended to them....
