JOINS HANDS WITH FARMERS IN STRIKE

(By Associated Press) WASHINGTON. Oct. 29. Delegates to a farmers' conference here who are supporting a crop holding movement, said Thursday they hoped the policy committee named at opening session this morning would outline a program for some such movement. They declared they were convinced that in view of the announcement of the Federal Reserve board, the farmers could not hope for aid from the government. Others attending the meeting expressed the view -that congress might be called upon to assist the farmers who declare that many of them face ruin unless they can obtain sufficient, credit to tide them over the present period. Labor Joins. Organized labor joined in the conference today, being represented by Frank Morrison, secretary of the American Federation of Labor, and by William H. Johnson, president of the International association of Machinists. Mr. Johnson announced that he had been authorized by Warren S. Stone, president of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, to say that the engineers' organization was ready to co-operate with the farmers. "Farmers and laborers are suffering from the same evil," said Mr. Johnson, "and if we only co-operate we can solve them all. We could secure control of the banks by co-operation and change the complexion of congress." Mr. Johnson charged that "certain men" had got hold of the government and were manipulating it for the benefit of the few but explained that he was not referring to any particular administration.

Install This Hot Air Heating System in Your Home at the Cost of an Ordinary Stove! Do you know that over 50 of the heat in the ordinary stove goes up the chimney a dead waste of heat and of money?

HTHE DAY of the ordinary stove is passing. Big coal bills and chilly houses arc going out of style. Folks are growing tired of inefficient, wasteful methods' of shoveling coal into stoves that send most of the heat into the chimney instead of into, the house.

Jlgl

There's a new way now a vastly be tter way that is revolutionizing home heatingj Thousands everywhere have installed it people all over the country are proclaiming it as the "Heating Marvel of the Age."

&ySiM4 Hot Storm the Stove with a "Little Furnace in i' is not a stove, not a furnace, but a heating system that combines the best features of both. The diagram at the left shows the ordinary stove construction how 50 to 75 ol all the heat goes up the chimney, for the simple reason that there is nothing to stop it. The diagram at the rieht shows the new way the Estate Hot Storm way. Note how the JJtde Furnace checks and absorbs the upward rushing heat; how it draws air from the room through pipes on both sides of the stove; and how this air is intensely heated and discharged through the top, either directly into the room in which the stove sets, or into a pipe to conduct the heat to rooms above or adjoining. It is easy to see why this results in an amazing saving in fuel The saving is -so great that your Estate Hot Storm will easily pay for itself in a few seasons. And after that it will pay you., All we ask you to do U to investigate the Estate Hot Storm before you buy a stove of any kind. You owe it te yourself tQ da Mi
