ALBANIA FREE FROM : INVADERS; PEOPLE " -FEEL INDEPENDENT
f ? By Associated Press) j SCUTARI. Albania, Oct. 26. With the withdrawal of Italian troops from Avlona and the cessation of hostile invasions by the Serbs and Montenegrins, Albania Is free of foreign
occupation for the first time in her
history. Albanians feel that they have
at least reached the goal of their nationals independence. Their undying "love of liberty which has persisted
through all their centuries of struggle
p gainst Turk and Christian, is particularly quick and hopeful today. The people hope that the great powers-will protect them from future designs on ; the part of selfish foreign countries.
' Perhaps " never before was there
"such a state of tranquility within the borders of the little Albanian state. In
. the streets of Scutari one sees the . Albanian colors displayed for the first . -i a '. . . i a J
time, ana listens 10 painouc aemontitrations by local groups of citizens
and societies. Enthusiasm and patrio
tic fervor are at a high pitch. Even the native tribes, who usually are en-
gaged in factional combat among themselves, are living in a state of peace. This peace is based upon
nothing more than a word of honor
given with the approval of the people
between two or more chiefs. Word Is Binding.
'The Albanian's word, which he calls
"bessa." is absolutely binding. It is
customary for families within a tribe, for tribes and for large groups of
tribes to arrange between themselves
r a "bessa"; that is an agreement by which all matters of personal venge
ance are suspended for a given length of time. Except in a few communities in the
South, the Albanians live in tribal or
ganizations, in scattered communities
in the mountains, where each man de
fends his home and his rights with his rifle, which he never lays down when
out of doors. They are governed by a
sort of common law, which is known as the Law of Lek. Lk was a more or less traditional law-giver of the once powerful family of Dukadjinl.

His Joints Would Crack Like Whip Muscles sore, joints painful, bowels bound up and liver sluggish. Dreco was quick to overcome these ails.
"I have suffered a long time from constipation, rheumatism in my muscles and at times my Joints would crack like a whip; my entire system was run down and needed building up," said Mr. N. Mitchell, a well known farmer of Route No. 2, Roanoke, Ind. "I have Just started on my second bottle of Dreco, and it has done me worlds of good, the pain and stiffness has left my muscles and Joints; my bowels are moving regular and easy once more, and my liver is active. I never saw any medicine do the work like Dreco." When the wastes of the body are not eliminated regularly a poison accumulates In the system which is known as toxin, this goes through the blood and causes all sorts of trouble and distress. It is impossible for anyone to be well unless the different organs of the body perform their functions in the manner in which nature intended. The old fashioned remedies made from roots and herbs are the best for ony one to take. Dreco is made from twelve different roots, herbs, barks and leaves. These act on the stomach, bowels, liver, kidneys and purify the blood. Dreco knocks rheumatism out shortly, relieves catarrh of the head and stomach, makes you sleep sound and creates a good appetite. As a blood purifier nothing can equal Dreco. , It puts a stop to boils, eczema and other blood affections. All druggists now sell Dreco and it is being especially introduced in Richmond by Clem Thistlethvaites seven drug stores. Advertisement.

Buck Jones the Fox star, closes tonight his run. at the Murray theatre, in "Firebrand Trevison." No western cowboy film seen here in many a day has equalled . this Charles Alden Seltzer story in dash and daring interspersed with romance of the plains. In marksmanship and horsemanship Buck Jones .is a marvel and It is small wonder that he makes as big a bit with: the -lierolne as with tho audience. If , you haven't seen him, see him. MURRAY William Fox continues to score as a front rank motion picture producer. In presenting "The Little Wanderer" at the Murray theatre Thursday for a run of three days, he has given our public a genuine treat. The story by Denison Clift, is clean, clever and captivating. The star, Shirley Mason, delights the eye with her beauty and the understanding with her talent. The company, with Raymond McKee aa leading man, is most competent and the direction by Howard M. Mitchell excellent. It is not an exaggeration to say that no personality on the screen today is more attractive and satisfying than that of Shirley Mason nor has it ever been displayed to better advantage than in "The Little Wanderer." As to the story why, go and see what it's all about.
