Announcement has been received here of the marriage of Miss Sibyl Loofbourrow of New Madison, O., and Claude Bowen of Georgetown, 111. The marriage took place at the home of the bride's parents, the Rev. Blackford of Eldorado, O., officiating. The bride's gown was of satin and georgette and her flowers were a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses. Chrysanthemums in profusion were used throughout the residence in carrying out the color scheme of yellow and white. Mr. and Mrs. Bowen left for Georgetown, 111.; after the ceremony where they will' make their home. Mrs. Bowen graduated from Earlham college in 1918. She is an accomplished musician of unusual talent. Mr. Bowen- also attended Earlham and during the war served in aviation. He is now a member of the Georgetown high school faculty. A surprise party was given Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Weiss at their home in Abington Thursday in honor of their wedding anniversary.
