MURRAY. The selection of Lillian Rich to play the role of the little French-Canadian girl opposite Frank Mayo in "The Red Lane," brings a new personality to the list of screen leading women Judging from the former film work Accomplished by this delightful young English actress, she is ripe for leading honors. t- Miss Rich is comparatively new to the screen, having appeared only in about four or five feature productions. She was seen in support of Mary MacLaren In "The Pointing Finger" and with Francelia Billington in "The Day She Paid." It was her work in the latter production which particularly attracted the attention of Lynn Reynolds, the well-known director, and when he was commissioned to produce "The Red Lane," with Frank JMayo, announced for Thursday at the Iurray Theatre he immediately thought of Miss Rich as ideal for th chief feminine role.

MURRETTE. Woman is the glory of man. From his soul she spins the heart strings of his life and weaves them Into the fabric of his future. "Man and His Woman," the J. Stuart Blackton-Pathe feature starring Herbert Rawlinson at the Murrette Theatre, Friday, shows how two women wove the life fabric of a man. Herbert Rawlinson portrays a doctor who has discovered a tuberculosis serum that will benefit humanity. . The woman he loves wrecks his life. He sinks to the lowest depths and his God-given power of saving life is wasted. "Man and His Woman" is from the pen of Shannon Fife. Herbert Rawlinson is given the splendid support of charming May McAvoy in the role of the woman who spun for good; Eulalle Jensen as the woman who spun for evil; Warren Chandler as the other man, and Louis Dean and Charles Kent in small but important parts. MURRETTE The eternal conflict of wits between

the keen upholders of the law and the crafty denizens of the underworld has seldom been as thoroughly depicted as in Eugene O'Brien's latest Selznick picture, "The Wonderful Chance," which shows for the last time at the Murrette theatre, Thursday. Director George Archainbaud is to be congratulated on securing as "types" the most typical gang of thugs that have ever graced or disgraced the screen. These are contrasted later with the refined people with whom Barlow associates when he is masquerading in society as Lord Birmingham. Of course there is a love theme, and a very pretty and sensible one with pretty Martha Mansfield as the girl in the case.

CUT THIS OUt OLD ENGLISH RECIPE FOR CATARRH, CATARRHAL DEAFNESS AND HEAD NOISES If you know of some one who is troubled with Catarrhal Deafness, head noises or ordinary catarrh cut out this formula and hand it to them and you may have been the means of saving some poor sufferer perhaps from total deafness. In England scientists for a long time past have recognized that catarrh is a constitutional disease and necessarily requires constitutional treatment. Sprays, inhalers and nose douches are liable to irritate the delicate air passages and force the disease into the middle ear, which frequently means total deafness, or else the disease may be driven down the air passages towards the lungs which is equally as dangerous. The following formula which is used extensively in the damp English climate is a constitutional treatment and should prove especially efficacious to sufferers here who live under more favorable climate conditions. Secure from your druggist 1 ounce of Parmint (Double strength). Take this home and add to it 1-4 pint of hot water and a little granulated sugar; stir until dissolved. Take one tablespoonful four times a day. This' will often bring quick relief from distressing head noises. Clogged nostrils should open, breathing become easy and hearing improve as the Inflammation in the eustachian tubes is reduced. Parmint used in this way acts directly upon the blood and mucous surfaces of the system and has a tonic action that helps to obtain the desired results. The preparation is easy to make, costs little and i3 pleasant to take. Every person who has catarrh or head noises or is hard of hearing should give this treatment a trial. Advertisement.

Delicious favor moderate price the reason Two big reasons stand out for the record breaking sales of Maple Karo. First the flavor of Maple Karo is not an "imitation." The makers are the world's largest users of the purest and best flavored maple sugar. Over a thousand tons are brought an nually from Vermont and Canada where the finest maple trees grow. This sugar is used to make Maple Karo and to give it its delicious flavor. The second reason is quite as interesting as thm first: Maple Karo is remarkably moderate in price -selling at a lower price than any other syrup of approaching quality and flavor.
