In Lovlnr Remembrance of Clyde M. TVanklin. Pvt. Bat. B. 70th F. A., WHO died in the service of his country. Two sad vears! Oh. how lonely We have been since Clyde hae gone. ?Co more music, no more singing. How we miss his happy songl He died with no earthly friend To bathe his aching brow. Or soothe or comfort him. Oh, how we regret It now. But Jesus came and took him Where there'll be no more good-bye, And Ood has wiped all tears. From out our darling's eyes. We shall meet, but oh. wa miss him, He has left a vacant chalri No more his cheery laughter Will come floating down the stair. Gone In the best of his days. Blighted in manhood's bloom; Torn from the hearts that loved To leave only sorrow and gloom. him,
One by one the flowers are taken. One by one the coses fall. For we know that grief and sorrow Come to everyone and alL God has taken our dear loved one, We must try to bear the pain.
