Alyes. of '.- the National Adult School Council of England, Carl Heath, Secretary of the & Council for International Service, and ,,; Donald Grant, Student Volunteer secretary for Great Brlttain. y The. international committee of which Mr. Tickett was appointed joint .secretary with Mr. Cramp, met on the f day following the close of the larger ' conference and prepared a program , for the Joint activities of all young Friends throughout the world for the coming year. The Friends Fellowship Papers, now published by Young Friends in England, was taken over by the continuation committee, and will hereafter be published as an International Young Friends magazine, according to Mr. , Pickett. "Inter-visitation of representative ; young Friends of the countries of the T world, was planned for," said Mr. Pickett. The committee appointed consists of 15 persons representing -Great Britain, Ireland, United States, : Canada, Germany, Austria, France, ; Scandinavia, Switzerland, Japan. M. , Llppert and Miss Vivian Daughit, all 'of Liberty, were taken into the club. j Refreshments were served Mr. .Herschtl LaMar and Miss Goldle Teevgarden, of near Fairfield, ere married by the Rev. D. R. Moore, at his home on South street, Wednesday evening. The couple will begin housekeeping on the McMahan farm Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Stivers returned home last veek from Bay View, Mich. ....Mrs. J. agent.... The funeral of Albert Montgomery was conducted Sunday afternoon at the home, by Rev. E. L LaRue, of the Liberty M. E. church. Burial was at West Point. Mr. Montgomery was survived by his wife, Harriett Gambrel Montgomery, one son, Clay ton Montgomery, one step-son, William Ammerman, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Mardock, of Illinois; also three brothers and three sisters, all of whom were here to attend the funeral.... FEDERAL AGENTS GET 500 QUARTS OF LIQUOR IN RAID TERRE HAUTE, Ind., Sept. 30. Five hundred quarts of bonded whisky, valued at $6,000, were seized by Federal officers Tuesday in a raid on a place operated by Thomas Gardner, exsaloon keeper. Gardner was apprehended as he arrived from Pittsburgh, Pa., with an automobile loaded with liquor and a search of his premises revealed the stock.

Indiana Brevities ANDERSON Investigation has been started to find the owner of an abandoned airplane, which made its appearance on the bank of the White river, in the east part of the city. The plane landed during the night No i one saw the flyer. It is thought that the plane was stolen. SHELBYVTLLE A test has been made by H. C. Painter, government egent in this county, to determine the best time to sow wheat. Wheat that has been used in the test plots have en covered with eggs of tho Hessian and the recent rains have caused the flies to batch so rapidly that ho claims the time for seeding wheat is not at hand.
