For the purpose of providing an adequate Endowment Fund for Earlham College, of Richmond, Indiana, and in consideration of the pledges of others, I promise to pay to the order of the Treasurer of Earlham College at Richmond, Indiana, the sum of Dollars, payable as follows: One-third April 1st, 1921; one-third April 1st, 1922; and one-third April 1st, 1923, with interest after maturity at the rate of six per cent per annum, or all cash.
