INDIANA WOMEN Will a BE ALLOWED TO VOTE FOR TICKET LEADERS Republican women In Indiana aro kettin the preliminaries of the pomIns campaign under way and are making preparations to co-operate to the fullest extent with the men's organl sations, down to the precinct committee. The women are sure of at least partial suffrage in the fall elections and will likely get the full rote. M it is reRarded probable that the 86th state will ratify the federal suffrage amendment before Noy. 2. As the law in Indiana now stands, women are entitled, to vote for president and vice president, regardless of whether the federal suffrage amendment is ratified or not. Indiana Law. An act passed by the state legislature and approved Feb. 6, 1919, givea "all women citizens of the United . States of the age of twenty-one years and upwards, who shall have resided in the state 6 months and in the township 60 days, and in the ward or precinct 30 days immediately preceedlng any presidential election." the right to vote for the presidential and vice presidential candidates. Separate ballot boxes and ballots will be provided for the women who vote under the authority of the 1919 act. The women must comply with the same suffrage regulations as the men and everyone who expects to vote will he required to register. There will be two registration days the first Saturday in September and the first Monday In October. The hours will be from 8 a. m to 9 p." m., and voters will register in the precinct In which they are entitled to vote. Doth men and women who will be 21 years old on or before election day must regisr in order to be qualified to cast -their vote.

$50 Reward for Arrest Of Draft Evaders A nation-wide round-up of more than 100,000 draft deserters is to be started soon by the war department. For months the war department has been preparing a mammoth list of names of men who can be classed as actual and not theoretical deserters. This liat will be completed soon and it is expected it will contain the names of at least 100,000 "slackers." Newspapers thruout the country are to be asked to publish the names of the men on the list who are on the record of the war department as living their locality. Fifty dollars reward will be offered anyone delivering one of the deserters to the nearest military station. The men on the list now nearing completion are those shown by war department records to have disregarded the draft calU after they had registered.
