(Continued From Page One.) will ask "where are these McAdoo votes you claim?" Then it is up to the McAdoo managers to produce. , The anti-McAdoo men say they can not show more than an approximation of the two-thirds required for nomination, and are in a position to check each delegate claim the McAdoo men make. Can Prove They Are Claims. The antl McAdoo men are confident that they can disprove enough of the McAdoo figures to make it a certainty they are claims, not certainties, that must be decided by the event. Assuming that the anti McAdoo men have the goods, they assert, the question then paramount is "Who is the man?" The answer to that question is not yet decided. Canvasses are be ing made, conferences held, eligibles scrutinized and discussed, opinions exchanged, and examinations practiced. All this is based on the Inability of either Cox or Palmer to obtain the necessary two' thirds of the votes required to nominate. Furthermore, there would be no surety to demonstrate in the convention. Both Cox and Palmer will be allowed to develop their full capacity in votes, and helped to make a showing, if necessary. Marshall Is Strong. The men most in cconsideration for unified support after the preliminary trials sets, are Bainbridge Colby, of New York, secretary of state; John W. Davis, of West Virginia, ambassador to Great Britain; Homer Cummings, of Connecticut, chairman of the Demorcratic national committee, and Thomas R. Marshall, vice president of the United States. Arguments against all these are sought in order that all weaknesses may be developed. The Davis handi

cap is that he is said to be corporational in his tendencies; not in favor with the radical Irish, because of his present position; and that West Virginia is not really for him. and would much prefer Governor John Cornwell of that state, who nominated Davis in the convention. The Colby hurdle is that he is too recent a convert to Democracy ; which argument has great weight with south ern and other old line delegates There is doubt whether Cummings, although a remarkable orator, fits in other necessary wayB. Choice Is Limited. However, the choice is somewhat limited, and these are men under chief consideration by the anti McAdoo managers and their affiliations, which

This Week's Beauty Help

It is not necessary to shampoo your hair so frequently if it is entirely and property cleansed each time by the ue of a really good shampoo. The easiest to use and quickest drying shampoo that we can recommend to our readers is one that brings out all the natural beauty of the hair, and may be enjoyed at very little expense, by dissolving a teaspoonful of canthrox, which can be obtained from any druggist's, in a cup of hot water, his makes a full cup of shampoo liquid, enough so it is easy to apply it to all the hair instead of just to the top of the head. This, when rubbed into the scalp and onto every strand of hair,, chemically dissolves all impurities. It is very soothing and cooling In its action, as well as beneficial to both scalp and hair. After rinsing out the lather so created, you will find the scalp is fresh, clean and free from dandruff, while the hair dries quickly and evenly, developing a bright luster and a soft fluffiness that makes it seem very heavy. are more extensive than the figures given above may show. None of these may be taken. One may be, but that is in no sense a prediction, for the antl McAdoo movement may crumble. Other similar movements have, and some otner man than either of btese may prove the more available. The fact that all efforts are cen
