DR. CHARLES F. GRAY FUNERAL SATURDAY; ROSE-RUPE WEDDING

WINCHESTER, Ind., June 19. Dr. Charles Fremont Gray, 65, is dead at the home of his son. Dr. Fred Gray, in Brown street, following a month's illness of heart trouble. Besides the son find his family, the deceased is survived by one brother, Dr. E. F. Gray. - Dr. Gray was the 6on of Simon and Nancy .Smith Gray, both deceased and was reared oh a farm near this city. Since 1876 he has practiced dentistry, in many of the principal cities of the west, spending several months each year, at his beautiful country home, near Winchester. He was an active member of the Friends' church, and was a Mason, Knight Templar and K. of P. Funeral services In charge of the Knights Templar, will be conducted from the Friends church, Saturday afternoon, at four o'clock, the Rev. Frank Cornell, officiating. Burial will

be in Fountain Park cemetry. Miss Jessie Lucile Rose and Thomas Clarke Rupe were married Thursday evening, at 8 o'clock, at the home of Dr. and Mrs. B. S. Hunt, of this city, where Miss Rose has made her home for several years. More than 50 gue3ts were present. Miss Frances Ellen Hunt sang "At Dawning," Mrs. Hunt played the "Lohengrin" wedding march and Miss Harriet Elder, Miss Mary Miller, Miss Ruth Clark, Miss Marjorie Hiatt, Miss Ruth Ilinshaw and Miss Elizabeth Reed sang "The Bridal Chorus," as they descended the stairs, each carrying a basket of flowers. Miss Verda Paxen, of Geneva, a niece of the bride, was maid of honor, and little Miss Mary Martha Hunt bore the ring in a white lily. Before the ceremony which was in charge of the Rev. J. H. Wilson, of Newcastle, formerly pastor of the Church of Christ of this city. Miss Emma Hunt sang "I Love You Truly." A wedding supper was served after the service. Mr. and Mrs. Rupe will be at home in East Washington street in this city. Among those attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Ellinghnm and son, Miller, of Ft. Wayne, and Mrs. Rufus Paxon. her daughter Verda and sons Herbert and Joseph, of Geneva. The thirty-first anniversary of the T. If. 12.
