REUTHER TO HURL TODAY; REDS HOPE TO ASSUME FIRST BROOKLYN. N. Y., June 15. Walter Reuther has been nominated by Manager Moran to hurl the Reds into first place at the expense of Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon. Once in the first hole, the Reds should have no difficulty in holding on as the next games are to be played with Philadelphia and Boston. The Reds almost got a firm grip Monday but the pesky Dodgers scored tour runs in the eighth and trimmed Our Boys nine to seven. The Red trio of sluggers, Roush, Duncan and Neal, were on the job.
