The Palladium Commercial league baseball team will play the Item team at Exhibition park Tuesday afternoon. Everyone from the office cub to the general managers, of both papers, will be out and root. WHITEWATER TAKES 10 INNINGS TO BEAT RICHMOND SHAMROCKS The Richmond Shamrocks almost won a baseball game from Whitewater Sunday afternoon, the home team requiring 10 Innings to down them by a 7 to 6 count. Whitewater scored 3 runs first part of game. The Shamrocks later tied the count and went ahead. Whitewater tied the score In eighth and won out In the tenth. Garthwaite and Jacobs composed the Richmond battery. Breese pitched for Whitewater. WILLIAMS AT STATE BOARD MEETING ON VOCATIONAL WORK Charles O. Williams, county superintendent of schools, attended a meeting Monday, of the state board of education, of which he is a member, at Indianapolis. The meeting was to consider whether Indiana shall tak advantage of the opportunity offered for obtaining federal money which wih go to train disabled and infirm people in remunerative occupations.
