By EMMA L. FETTA With the artistic effect and ability of professionals, members of the senior class of the Richmond High school appeared . Wednesday afternoon and evening in "Under Cover," on the Murray Theatre . tage. Crowds greeted each presentation. Miss Jane Carpenter and Stanley Youngflesh, In the leading roles of the elder Miss Cart-wright and Stephen Denby, "smuKRler," Interpreted difficult characterizations with a sureuess deserving commrndatlon. Miss Carpenter's gowns wero charming. Her dramatic sense was keen. The work of Mr. Youngflesh was superior to that commonly expected from an amateur. No Also Rans At All. But there were others who did extremely well. In fact there was not one person to be discarded to the "also appeared class." Dramatic ability of high order was shown by Clem Price in his appearances as a customs inspector. Harold Latta, another inspector, was very good. Exeremely fine character work was done by Miss Hazel Underhill in the role of Nora Rutridge. Dainty and unerring. Miss Underhill drew a very excellent interpretation without exaggeration. Miss 'Winifred Comstock excelled In a brief appearance as a smugler. Miss Comstock was jauntily gowned. Deserving mention was Miss Helen Jessup, who played Amy Cartwright, thief of her sister's Jewels. Dollint Is Inspector. Kenneth Dollins, who has a clear
enunciation and voice range, was re
markably adapted to his part as the
chief customs inspector. His work

Interesting work was well accomplished by Miss Esther Fouts as the maid, Lambert, and Richard Thorn-l-urg as the customs house office boy, Peter. Stage settings and general contour of the drama was without flaw. Owing . to a mistake, programs were not obtained, so the scenes were announced from the stage.

An amazingly vivid picture of the night life of Paris of the "spenders' in garish cafes, of the strange "half-world ' of the fierce Apaches. Two women one, rich, frivolous, and worse, seeking the sparkle of life in the pleasure palaces of the Boulevards; longing for love from the man who had tired of her. Another, poor, unfortunate, seeking to escape from
the Apache "king" who was blighting her, body
ana soul. One night these two women meet. The good one, trembling from a wild Apache dance; the other, crushed with shame and disillusionment. When the two men, their "masters," meet, two worlds of Paris rush together! The rest is a story you won't soon forget. Cornel
