The Y. M. C. A. Drive The Y. M. A. campaign next week for funds will be successful, it ia safe to predict. The institution is well established here,- its work understood, its aims appreciated. The sum that is to be raised is not large in

comparison with the wealth of the community

and the general interest that is manifested in the

association. The Richmond association is the center of many interests benefiting the boys of

the city and redounding to the welfare of the community. An institution such as the Y. M. C. A. cannot become self-supporting in the very nature of the case. The privileges which it accords to boys are far more expensive than the revenue from rates will cover. The difference between the cost of operation and the receipts is a community obligation which the citizens should be glad to meet. The local associations all over the country are supported in a certain degree by the communities

to occur. To increase the membership fee would be to defeat the very purpose for which the Y exists.

They should be disturbed in their sleep and put into circulation. IMAGINE THEN CREATE , Imagination is the greatest force in human growth and progress. No deed, worthy the name, is possible until the image of that deed is first stamped deeply upon the mind and heart of the one who shall attempt it. Imagine then create! See the thing done in all its wonder and perfection. Then go ahead and do it. The builder creates from plans, carefully worked out in detail, plus a picture of the building itself. Nothing results from attempting thing's Inphazafdly.

The new superintendent of a lunatic asylum was strolling round the grounds a few weeks after his appointment, when one of the inmates came up to him and, touching his hat, exclaimed: "We all like you better than the last one, sir." "Thank you," said the new official, pleasantly. "And may I ask why?" "Well, sir," replied the lunatic, "you see you are more like one of us!"

Nerves direct the carry Ing of nutrition by the blood from the stomach to organs and tissues of the body and if the nerves are out of order, the organs and tissues often suffer from lack of nutrition as a result and weakness comes. In addition, nerves control sleep, A weakened person cannot sleep well and a weakened, run down system results.

Over fifty years ago a young1

physician practiced widely in a rural district and became famous for his uniform success in the curing of disease. This was Dr. Pierce, who afterwards established himself in Buffalo, N. Y., and placed one of his prescriptions, which he called "Golden Medical Discovery," in the drug stores of the United States so that the public could easily obtain thi3 very remarkable tonic, corrective and blood -maker. Dr. Pierce manufactured this "Discovery" from roots and barks a corrective remedy, the ingredients of which nature had put in the fields and forests, for keeping U3 healthy. Few folks or families now living have not at sometime or other used this "Golden Medical Discovery" for the stomach, liver and heart. Over twenty -four million bottles of this tonic and blood remedy have been sold in this country.

Nerves largely control strength and greatly affect health In general. Healthy people have strong, steady nerves. The man or woman whose system ls weak and run down usually has nerves that are weak and run down, too. Nerves direct the sending of nutrition by the blood from the stomach to various organs and tissues of the body. Weakened nerves cannot perform their duties properly and often organs and tissues are not supplied with sufficient nutrition and weakness results. Nerves also control sleep the grea: repair agent of the human body. At night, while you sleep, energy used up during the day is renewed and the body is toned up for the next day's activities. If sleep is impossible because of "edgy", unstrung nerves you arise in the moraine feellne almost as

tired as you did the night before. I Thousands of people have told of the ' -Aj

beneficial effect of Vola-Tonic upon the nerves. Vola-Tonio builds up and strengthens the nerves and permits sound, restful sleep every night. In addition, Vola-Tonic brings a good appetite, good digestion and good blood and as a result, strength and

health return to the weakened, run down man or woman. In cases of extreme nerve trouble. Vola-Tone Nerve Treatment 6hould be taken with Vola-Tonic or, if there is extreme constipation, Vola-Lax Candy Laxative Ehould be taken with VolaTonic. Vola-Tonic "Builder of Strength." Vola-Tone Nerve Treatment and VolaLax Candy Laxative are sold in Richmond by the Five Qulgley Drug Stores. Advertisement.
