OBITUART After some three months of illness, and the suffering: very intense at times, yet our sister bore it with that Christian fortitude Riven only to those who have their trust In Him who doeth all thinpa well, on the morning of April 21. 1920. as the dawn of morning approached, our Lord and Master said it was enough. Knter thou into thy rest, and the pearlv gates swung open for the spirit of our sister, who rests from her labors here, but her works do follow after her. She was ever content as she worked in the Bible school of her beloved church. The temperance cause also held a warm place in her heart, and she was found doing all for that department of the church that she eould posslblv do. We must remember, too. that our sister was ever found at the church service as long as health permitted, for she loved a spiritual sermon. Surrounded with the pleasures of life, death had no terror for her. but calmly made all her arrangements for this service. Lucinda P. Steddom, daughter of Nathan and Betsy Puckett. departed this life April 1. 1920. aged 7S years and 6 months. She was united in marriage with Isaac P. C. Steddom June 21, 18C5. Thy enjoyed each other's companionship almost 53 years. To this union were born six children, two daughters nnd four sons, nne son having preceded his mother to their home beyond the Jordan some 20 years. The husband and father, with five children, 12 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild are left to mourn their loss. The life and conscious living of our mother will still live in us and cannot be taken away, although she is gone. The Psalms say: Mark the perfect

man and behold the upright, for the

end of that man is peace. Ps. 37 ch. :t7 v.
