SERVICE MEN ALL IN FAVOR OF BONUS AND CASH AT THAT!

Wayne county service men are unanimously in favor of a bonus, and a cash one at that, according to the votes SQ far cast on the referendum ballot printed in The Palladium each day. Of the 54 ballots which have been received in the office, 49 men would base extra pay on the length of service. The other five, waive rights to more than their comrades who served less time. Very few favor Liberty bonds or loans for home or farm, alone, but many think that these along with a substantial rash bonus would make& fair compensation. In the 6pace for remarks, many advocate a dollar a day for each day in ervice. Others suggrst that a dollar and a half, with two dollars for each day spent over seas. One man asks that married men receive all of their allotments back. Another, fearing that the time of paying would be strung out over a long period, wants his in a lump. The Palladium is anxious to receive the opinions of Wayne county service men and requests that they clip the coupon appearing elsewhere and send it in. All of the ballots will be sent

regard and affection the woman who ha3 been "The Power Behind the Throne," of his life, helping him to success or the woman who married him for money and then discovered that she loved him? Shall a woman who has sacrificed her brain power, her youth, and her good name for a man, step aside in favor of a girl who takes his name illegally, enjoys his wealth, and gives nothing save a belated affection? Which type of woman does a man truly caro for the intellectual, selfreliant kind who can help him build a fortune, or the sweet, domestic woman who can Burround him with beauty, make him comfortable, and demand protection? Wife or good comrade? Which woman finally wins in the eternal battle for love? These are a few of the phases of an unusual situation which exists in the brilliant drama, "Just a Woman." MURRAY

Miss Shirley Mason in "Molly and j

I," a delightful comedy based on the novel by Frank R. Adams entitled "Molly and I and the Silver Ring," began a three days' engagement at the Murray Thursday night. The production left nothing to be desired. The charming little star was at her best, and the story is a delightful one. The support and direction were in keeping with the 6tar and the story, and "Molly and I" proved to be one of the best offerings of the season. There is much comedy and considerable pathos in the picture. The sympathy of the audience is with the little heroine at all times, and Miss Mason has made her one of the most lovable characters on the screen. Albert Roscoe scored as the young blind author to whom the heroine is devoted, and the rest of the cast measured up to the standard set by the star and her leading man.

MURRETTE If you think it's the easiest thing in the world to be wicked you should see Constance Talmadge in "In Search of a Sinner," her latest production adapted by John Emerson and Anita Loos, which began a three days' engagement at the Mprrette Theatre, Thursday. Georgiana wanted to find a wicked man in the worst way. And when she thought she had landed one, he turned out to be a member of "The Purity League," and had too much honor to even betray the wife of his best friend. But what it took to make a wild man out of a tame one, Georgiana had. And when it came time to make a tame one out of the wild one she was likewise on the job. The only one thing Georgiana could not do was to find a real sinner. But

TOMB AS TODAY'S EVENT WASHINGTON", April 23. A pilgrimage to Mount Vernon for the purpose of placing wreaths on the tombs of George and Martha Washington was the chief event on the program for today's session of the continental congress of the Daughters of the American revolution. A report of the resolutions committee and other routine business occupied the time of the delegates in the forenoon.

it wasn't a real sinner she wanted, after all. MURRAY VAUDEVILLE Songs ranging from grand opera to popular selections seem to predominate the new bill which opened yesterday at the Murray for the week-end. The only variance is Kartelli, who is accredited among theatrical folks

vehemence. The girl is doing a very good piano number, while the man offers several character songs to big returns. Mme. Verabell and Company consist of two ladies with highly cultured soprano voices, a young dancer and a baritone singer. To those who care for the artistic in vaudeville, this act will have a great appeal, for the single numbers are rendered admirably, also the ensemble

of the show business. This is not i work being very good, while the bare

No complexion can be considered beautiful if the skin Is coarse in texture. This trouble can be overcome by cleansing the pores, removing the dirt and impurities which made the skin rough. For this purpose there's nothing better than the mercolized wax process. The wax completely absorbs the rough, muddy or discolored

outer skin and unclogs the pores. Thej

young sKin underneath then in evidence is exquisitely delicate, refined and beautiful. And it is kept so, as the pores now freely expel effete matter and drink in the lifegiving oxygen. Mercolized wax, because of its wonderful absorption power, is fast superseding other treatments for coarse, pimply, yellow, freckled or blotchy skin. It is applied at night like cold cream and washed off next morning It is perfectly harmless, of course, and can be found in any drug store or toilet section. Advertisement,

The physician who originated the Anti-Fat treatment known to physicians and druggists as "five-grain tablets Arbolone" is being praised and thanked by pcores of women in the class known as "society devotees." A literary woman in Los- Angeles, being so highly elated over her success in reducing, has written a clever little poem, which recites the facts and expresses deep gratitude as well. To safely and surely reduce from 20 to 60 pounds is easily accomplished when tablets Arbolone are used regularly. They are not drastic or dangerous', used as directed, but simply and surely dissolve the fatty elements and eliminate from the system. Also, they remove the craving for such foods as are not desirable for fat folks to use. Herein, Arbolone is superior to all other anti-fat medicines, as it automatically overcomes the abnormal, perverted appetite for starchy foods, etc. Sold by all druggists in sealed tubes with full directions.
