Corn Intended for Rats, Poisons Horses in Preble EATON, O., April 17. It is thought that poison placed for rats was carried by the rodents into corn that cost the lives of two horses. Another animal that ate of the corn is seriously 111. A tenant on the farm of Pliny Deem, near Eaton, bought from another farmer a quantity of corn with which to feed his stock. He fed some' of the corn to his three horses and two of them died' and a third animal is in a bad way.
