With two presidential candidates al ready agreed to attend the Republican rally her on April 20, members of the committee In charge of the rally are working to bring General Leonard "Wood and Senator Hiram Johnson to the city and complete the list of candidates for the Republican nomination for the rally day program. Word was received from General 'Wood's Indiana manager Thursday morning that that candidate would be In Ohio during the week of April 19, and that there was some doubt as to whether he could be brought here on April 20. His manager said, however, that he would try to get the candidate here for at least a part of the day, and there is some chance that he may be able to come here for an afternoon address. No word has been received from Senator Johnson's manager, other than that every effort would be made to bring him here.

WASHINGTON. There are several big moments In "Footlights and Shadows," the new Selznick picture at the Washington the last times today, in which Olive Thomas Is the star. It is by far the best action picture Miss Thomas has had, and she does not depend alone, upon her remarkable beauty to win admirers, for there is some real acting in the role she portrays.

Miss Thomas, herself a former FolA'es" girl, is seen as Gloria Dawn, a fjfcautiful performer in a midnight fcjeVue, who fsr pursued by a man-about-

tywn. During a performance on tne root a fire sturts, and the man she loves is tramflled beneath the panicfetricken crowd Gloria rescues him, and the next day finds herself a heroine. When the scoundrel who is pursuing her comesto he apartment with an insulting proposal he is met by the man Gloria has rescued, and a fierce fight follows. Miss Thomas is supported by Alexander Onslow, a handsome leading man; Ivo Dawson, Robert Keeling, and other well-known players. The play

was directed by John W. Noble, and shows excellent handling throughout. MURRAY. An Interesting example of what Is Known, in literature as the duplex 6tory plot, or the story within, a story, is provided by Vitagraph's latest Earle Williams feature, "When a Man

Loves.. This production will be shown at the Murray Theatre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The picture unfolds the story of a

man who lives at a rapid rate of adventure and romance, while at the same time his brain conjures imaginatively a second, inner romance which

he writes for publication. The delightful dovetailing of these two stories and paralleling of their incident travels to an unusual climax. Mr. Williams, playing the role of John Howard Bannister, son of an English Lord, and a novelist by trade, writes a novel which comes true in hi3 own life. MURRETTE. There are many rich sets in "The

Adventurer" by E. Lloyd Sheldon, at

the Murrette Theatre. The production as is usual with Farnum features, has been lavishly staged, and some of the

costumes worn in the big ballroom scene are especially elaborate. J. Gordan Edwards, who directed "The Adventurer," Is noted for his attention to detail. It has been said that In alf his great productions this

director never has bad a flaw in any of the details, either of costumes or sets. "The Adventurer" is a remarkable output; but even if the great story were mediocre, the scenic effects and photography would be really worth while.

Mrs. E. M. Smith. 2518 Gilbert avenue, Cincinnati, O., suffered with her stomach two years and got so bad recently that she wasn't able to do a bit of her housework. "I took Vola-Tonic and now I am a great deal better," Mrs. Smith said. 'T TV n c in cn r H ho1 rr A i i nn Xcf rrt

Claims Great Relief Since 1 took Vola-Tonic that I could hardly T l n . f . keep food on my stomach at all. I taking UreCO, tbe Ureat.had headache all the time, too, and I

Horkal BomniliT lwas verv nervous. UCruai IemeUV. For two months recently I felt so

badly that I wasn't able to do any of my housework. "Then I started taking Vola-Tonic. I hadn't taken more than a few doses of Vola-Tonic until I could see results. "I continued taking Vola Tonic and now my stomach is in much better condiion and my nerves are about normal. I am much stronger than before, also. "I know I have derived a great deal of benefit from Vola-Tonic and I want to recommend this medicine to everybody who feels weak and run down and needs more strength." Strength depends upon tho stomach to a great extent. Let the stomach get out of order and you get out of order all over. To keep strong, your stomach must properly digest food and take nutrition from it to nourish the organs and tissues of your body. If the stomach fails and nutrition is lacking, the organs become ailing and tissues break down. Then weakness gradually comes. Vola-Tonic. "Builder of Strength," puts the stomach in good condition. It also brings a good appetite, good blood and good nerves and thus brings strength and better health to the weakened, run down man or woman. Vola-Tonic is being specially Introduced in Richmond by the five Quigley drug stores. Advertisement.

When the kidneys become weak or deranged it Is impossible for them to separate the poisons from the blood as it passes through these organs; the kidneys are the filterng plant for the body; as the blood goes through they strain out the poisons and pass them from the system. If these poisons stay in the blood, such troubles as rheumatism, catarrh, sallow skin, dizziness headaches, etc., show up. The body requires a full supply of pure, rich, red blood, free form poisons, to keep it in a healthy condition. Dreco acts on the kidneys, keeping them strong to purify your blood supply. "The greatest relief I've known in years since I took Dreco," said Mr. Lester S. Geyer, a highly respected employe of the Starr Piano Co., Richmond, Ind. "I've been full of rheumatism, aching joints .and Bore muscles for a long time. "My hands were so sore I couldn't double up my fists; I couldn't bend over without having terrible palna in my back. "I've taken so much medicine that my stomach was all out of order. My food didn't digest and I got nervous and weak, but, I'm feeling great onco more, for I've never seen anything take hold like Dreco did. It simply knocked out my troubles and put me on my feet again."

All good druggists now sell Dreco and it is highly recommended in Richmond by Thistlethwaite's six drug stores. Advertisement.

The Beloved Cheater

This picture is causing great comment wherever shown because it is a production entirely different from ordinary run of pictures. The Ohio Theatre at Indianapolis sold standing room only for one week; Loew's Theatre at Dayton, one week capacity houses; The New Boulevard Theatre, Cincinnati, finished a week run Saturday; house records broken. This speaks for itself. Do not miss it.
