SKULL 8,000 YEARS OLD LAFAYETTE, Ind., March 30. The skull of a prehistoric man was found a few days ago by Clyde Richards, a farmer and surveyor, living near Clarks Hill, while he was excavating along Lauramie creek. Richards took the skull to Indianapolis Saturday and at the state museum it was identified as belonging to a man of the stone age. The skull is three times as thick as an ordinary skull of today. The curator at the museum told Mr. Richards that the man, whose shoulders the skull once adorned, lived 8,000 years . ago. He belonged to the race which conquered and succeeded the race known as the square heads, of an earlier age.

Compare These Two Wash Ways

You will agree that the electric washing machine method is better than the old-time washway. But do you know how much easier the Gainaday will make your work?

The Gainaday Way The Gainaday Electric Washer and Wringer always ready for hard work. Costs but little for power. Handles all the clothes as carefully as you wash laces by hand. Yet It gets out all the dirt. Wrings with electric wringer that swings to any position

The Old-time Way A washwoman from the employment agency usually uncertain and incompetent. Wages going higher. Rubs the clothes in wear-and-tear fashion, tears off buttons watches the clock. Ordinary wringing takes more time. It's back-breaking too.

If you want a simpler, better washday, you can save time, hard work and money with the Gainday. Interesting, instructive folder sent on request.
