PASTORS TO APPEAL FOR ACCOMMODATIONS i FOR MUSIC FOLKS
An appeal to the congregations for aid in furnishing accomodations to the 400 delegates of the music teachers convention here in April, will be made ly Richmond pastors the first Sunday Rfter Easter. This decision was leached at the weekly meeting of the Richmond Ministerial Association in the Y. M. C. A. Monday morning. To devise plans for the appeal and also to fix a nominal rental for the delegates 1o be charged, a committee composed of the Revs. Semans, Murray, and Mitchell, was appointed. Phases of the coming financial campaign of the Inter-Church World Movement were presented by three representatives of the state organization. The pastors were urged to present the i-epresentatlves with a list of the mem--Lers of their respective congregations. May Appoint Layman. . The pastors were also urged to appoint a layman that would co-operate with the regular campaign director, but would be directly responsible for
class B, or those not being affiliated with any one church. Acting upon a motion presented by the Rev. J. J. Rae, the evangelistic committee of the church federation was ordered to forego holding services in the county jail. A minister is appointed for each Sunday and these report that hardly ever more than two or three men are in jail. '"Making the body express the soul" will be the theme of the next week's meeting of the organization, by the Rev. Addison Parker.
1:30 p. m. Tuesday. Burial will bo in the cemetery at Liberty. Beaver Funeral services for John Beaver were held at the parlors of Jordan, McManus, Hunt and Walteriman, at 3 p. m. Monday. Burial was in Earlham.

Gifford Henry Gifford. 78 years old. of Fountain City, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leslie Bond, in Thorntown, Ind., late Sunday night. The body will arrive in Richmond Tuesday morning and will be taken to his home in Fountain City. Funeral services will be held at the home at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Willow Grove cemetery. . Mendenhall Funeral services for Jermiah Mendenhall will be held at the home of his nephew, L. E. Hamilton, 114 North Nineteenth street, at

Arrangements are progressing for the senior's party to the juniors next Friday night in the art gallery. It is understood the affair is to be a gener
al party and not a formal dance as was first considered. . The "R" club met Monday morning during the activities period to make plans for special meeting to be held soon. The girls' track team met in the gymnasium during the activities period Monday. Try-out for the senior play, "Under Cover" is to be held at the high school Tuesday at 4 p. m. Principal Bate called a meeting of the faculty for 3:30 Monday afternoon. Routine business was to be considered.

"Hell" is to be discussed at the
weekly meeting of the Y dorm men's Bible class at 6:20 p. m. Monday in
the Y. M. C. A. Heaven was discussed last week. The women of St. Paul's Lutheran church will furnish supper. Each meeting has marked an increased membership.
Finley to Entertain Parent-Teacher Body Children of Finley school will play a prominent part in the Parent-Teachers association meeting next Thursday afternoon when the recently organized group of mothers and teachers will hold their second meeting.
