TWO WAYNE MEN ON G.O.P. COMMITTEES

An indication of some of the problems which the Republican state convention will consider in its platform deliberations this year is contained in the announcement of sub-committees of the Republican advisory platform committee of 50. The personnel of the subcommittees was made public Thursday by E. M. Wasmuth, state chairman, through Frederick E. Schortemeier, secretary. The advisory platform committee, which was recently appointed by Mr. Wasmuth to consider suggestions for the Republican state platform, will be called together within a short time to act on reports of the subcommittees. At that time a comprehensive platform will be drawn up and will be presented as recommendations to the platform committee of the state convention. Ed Paul, of Cambridge City, and Rudolph G. Leeds, of Richmond, were each named on three committees. Paul is a member of the committee on reduction of federal taxes; primary law revision, and legislation for farmem Leeds Is a member of the committee on merchant marine; development of loreign trade and, budget system in v state and national government.
