WAYNE JNTERGIIURGH MEETING ONE OF 4; FINANCE MEN MEET

The Interchurch World Movement county conference In Wayne county will include three sessions on April 6, at the Reld Memorial church, ; The opening session is at 10:30 a. m., the afternoon session opens at 3 o'clock, and .the evening session at 7:80, In addition to these three general conference sessions there are -to oe denominational and young people's rallies. These rallies probably wlll be held the dinner or supper hours. The general conference sessions are to be held at the Retd Memorial church and it is probable that the de nominational gatherings and young

The Wayne county conference in Richmond on April 6 is to be followed

on succeeding days by similar county

conferences in Union, JFuyette and

Franklin counties in charge of the

same conference team. The state has been divided into 22 districts with

plana for four county conferences In

each district.

The four fold program of the field

department of the world movement is

to be presented at these conferences, as also Is the survey work and the financial campaign plans.

Finance Campaign Leader Met. Ccunty interchurch financial' "cam

paign director W. L. Stump met at

the Y. M. C. A. last night with denominational representatives of six denominations; Baptist. Christian, United Brethren, Friends, United Presbyterian and Presbyterian. -.-Finance director Stump, and Lester W. Carlander, who is director of the rural survey of the interchurch for Wayne county made a trip to the western section of the county this afternoon. Leaders in Indianapolis. 'A number of local leaders, including President L. E. Murray of the county federation and Dr. J. J. Rae, chairman of the interchurch world movement committee of the federation, were in Indianapolis Thursday attending a state conference preliminary to the county conference tours.

To Hold Citizen's School

The Woman's Franchise League of Jackson township Is directing a citieenshlp school, which will be held

Saturday afternoon, March 27, In the

Cambridge City school house.

Mrs. E. C. Rumpler of Indianapolis, president of the State Federation of

Women's clubs will speak on "Citizenship" at the opening session. All wo

men of Jackson and adjourning townships are invited to attend free of

Earlham

President David M. Edwards will

go to New York and other places in the ea6t early next week in the Interests of Earlham college and the

Friends Forward Movement. The president will interview several prospective professors for Earlham' next year. Dr. W. V. Although partisan politics will be barred from the floor of the state convention of the Woman's Franchise League of Indiana, April 6 to 8, at the Claypool, Indianapolis, there will be plenty of political activity surrounding the meeting, as nearly all campaign headquarters are fci the convention hotel, and active committees of
