Bryson is a banker, and is chairman of the Republican committees of the Fifth district. George M. Barnard and George A. Elliott of Newcastle, and P. S. Brysbn, of Connersville, were present at the luncheon.

TEXAS NEGRO HANGED. San Augustine, Texas, March 24. Two thousand persons saw John Hood Price, a 43-year-old negro, legally hanged on the public square here Tuesday, following his conviction last night for the murder of John Kennedy, a farmer. There was no demonstration.
