$5 Bills Showered on the Heads of Theater Patrons WINCHESTER. Ind., March 19. At the Grand Theatre, Union City, Monday night an unusual Incident happened when a bunch of five dollar bills showered on the beads and in the laps of several seated in the audience. It proved that Pete Caron, a well known young man, who was seated in one of the boxes with a party of friends, to attract the attention of a party in the audience, threw what he supposed

was a large paper. wad. which proved to be a roll of bills. Caron discovered his mistake and hurried from the box exclaiming: "I have thrown my whole week's salary at "Bussard". The money was all recovered.

No Jamaica Ginger Sales, Warns Indiana "Dry" Head Richmond druggists and grocers learned Friday of a warning issued by Charles J. Orbison, state prohibition i X director, relative to the sale of Jamaica ginger. It is the opinion of Orbison that only sales of the product for medicinal purposes are authorized, and he asserted that close investigation will be made of all other sales, with a view of prosecution. N The ginger contains an average of 90 per cent alcohol, he Bays. Already much evidence has been gathered concerning the sale of the stuff. In MarJon recently James Rowan was fined $250 and given 120 days on the penal farm for selling it. Grocers are warned to get rid of their stocks. Restaurants have also been known to handle it, Orbison says. With proper mixing Jamaica can be made into a distasteful but powerful intoxicant.

WASHINGTON. When "Sooner or Later," the current Owen Moore Selznick Picture comes to the Washington theatre today antTtomorrow, local fans will have their first opportunity of seeing one of the latest phases of movie progress the art of camouflage, developed to such a high extent during the war and now adapted to motion picture studio uses, Joseph Telcher, the scenic artist at the Selznick studio is chiefly responsible for the development. Without disturbing the dramatic continuity of the production, it was necessary to

take Owen Moore and his company to a wide stretch of country, with lake and hills and winding paths, the whole flooded with moonlight. This was done with the aid of all the tools of the catr.onflager paint, board, frames of steel and wire, and the scientific use of perspective. The

result was so baffling that photographs ' of it deceived all who had not seen the studio scenes. For the movie cameras the "coup de camouflage" went over with a bang. MURRETTE A fierce fight is staged between a dog and a man in a cave deep In the rocks in the First National picture, "Even As Eve," taken from "The Shining Band," one of Robert W. Chamber's famous stories. The picture will-te shown at the Murrette theatre today. Eileen, a beautiful girl, brought up

in the wilds of the Adirondacks, tar from the haunts of men, keeps a

strong box in the cave with treasure and secret papers committed to her by ier father, just before he died. He does not reveal the contents, but tells

her they are important and not to let

any one get hold of them. T)ne. night she is followed to the cave by a false prophet of a fanatical

band, the leader of which knows of

the existence of the papers and is try

ing to secure them. He attacks her In

the cave and secures the treasure. However, her screams have been heard by a young doctor, who spends the summers in a club house nearby. He and his dog, a great shepherd, rush to the rescue. The dog arrives first

and lanuches straight at the man's throat. He hurles him to the ground and la tearing him to pieces when the man reaches a bit of rock and stuns the dog. He is about to crush the dog's skull when Lansing arrives and Eileen and the treasure are saved. The story of how Eileen, the little woodland girl enters society and is one of fascinating interest. MURRAY VAUDEVILLE Duke Rogers is back home with his partner Harry Vernon singing to the folk s and showing 'em how they "act out" when they are in the cities with the tall buildings and white lights. Vernon and Rogers are co-headliners on the new bill which opened yesterday at the Murray for the last half with their singing and dancing specialty, and the way home-folks took them to their hearts last evennig must have warmed the cockles of their hearts. Regular Habits Produce a Beautf iul Complexion Daily elimination rids the system of poisons. Women should realize that !

MANY women complain daily of their complexion, of their headaches and general ill health, little realizing that the trouble is constipation. Women, too, are much more subject t'o such congestion than men,, and much more careless of it. The result is seen in lusterless, weary eyes, in sallow, pimply complexion, in lassitude, bad breath, and in that word so often used, "indisposed." At the first sign of these symptoms the wise woman will lake a laxative, and will see that the young girl and others in her care do likewise. Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin is the favorite with thousands of women because it is mild and gentle in its action and in the end trains the stomach and bowel muscles to do their work naturally without the aid of medicine. This combination of simple laxative herbs with pepsin, which can be bought at any drug store, is also a very sterling first-aid in colds, fevers and other sudden ills

that make it advisable to always have a bottle in the home. It is free from narcotics and safe for the tiniest baby. In spite of the fact that Dr. Cald well's Syrup Pepsin is the largest selling liquid laxative in the world, there being over 6 million bottles sold each year, many who need its benefits have not yet used it. If you have not, send your name and address for a free trial bottle to Dr. W. B. Caldwell, 511 Washington St., Monticello, Illinois.

Capman and Mooney have a classy dancing act wherein they introduce a number of difficult and intricate steps.
