The most important social event for next week is the marriage of Miss Juanlta Ballard, danghter of Mrs.
Mary A. J. Ballard, of Southwest A street, to J. Willis Beede, son of Mrs. Alberta Beede, of-Wblttler, Calif., to be solemnized Tuesday at 2:30 p. m., in the West Richmond Friends church. Mies Ballard has boen the guest of honor at a number of parties. On Saturday afternoon Mrs. Atwood Jenkins and Mrs. Samuel Hodgln will entertain for Miss Ballard and for Mrs. Alberta Beede, who has arrived to attend the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kepler will give their regular dance in the K. of C. hall Saturday evening.
