CHINA MUST HAVE CHRISTIANITY, WONG TELLS MINISTERS

"Christianize China or she may develop into another Germany," warned Ansom T. Wong, assistant headmaster of the Methodist College in Shanghai, speaking before the" state Interchurch "World Conference at Indianapolis, Tuesday afternoon. "It is the Christian religion more than all the other things of Western civilization that my country needs," added Mr. Wong, who is a graduate of Columbia University and who has studied at Oxford. "That civilization has already created many paradoxical conditions in China and it is of no use whatever to us unless the Christian religion comes with it.

Mr. Wong emphasised the great

potential future of the Eastern empire, with its vast material resources and

Its possibilities for good or evil in the world. "China, developed by the power

and leadership of Christianity, will play a significant part," he said, "in making the world safe for democracy. Without that religion her size and numerical strength contains many elements of danger." Ohio Record Excelled. The conference included merning, afternoon and evening sessions and a total registration of 1,629 ministers was reported. This was said to be in excess of the Ohio record, notwithstanding the fact that the Buckeye state has more than twice as many Protestant ministers as Indiana. Addresses were made by James P. Chadbourne of Boston, financial director of the movement; Dr. A. M. Crouch, of New York, Dr. W. O. Clippinger of Ohio, Dr. W. E. Doughty of New York and Prof. K. A. Honline of Dayton, O. Most of the score of Richmond and Wayne County ministers attending the conference returned homo Tuesday night and Wednesday. "Business First," Slogan of Ad Club's Convention Board INDIANAPOLIS. Leonard Ear Oil

Ninety Percent of the cases of Deafness and Head Noises are Catarrhal, due to Catarrh in the Eustachian Tubes and Air Passages which connect the ears and nose. In all such cases these Tubes become stopped up with Catarrhal- mucus, and the Air Passages of the Head clogged, thus preventing the air from enteringan d circulating as nature intended.and the result is Deafness and a great variety of dreadful Head Noises. Catarrh causes Thickened, Sunken and Hardened Drums. Also, if the Natural Drum is perforated or completely destroyed the cold air enters through the perforation and a Catarrhal condition quickly arises. Therefore, before there can be any improvement in Hearing or Relief from the Head Noises it is absolutely necessary that the diseased condition in the Eustachian Tubes and Air Passages be relieved. By "Rubbing It In" and massaging Leonard Ear Oil as directed.
