MILTON TALKS OVER SCHOOL; MANY MEETS TO BE HELD SOON
The proposed consolidated town
and township school for Washington township wa3 discussed at a meeting In Milton Saturday afternoon by C. O.
Williams, county superintendent, Wilfred Jesfup, local attorney, and Architect C. E. Wenklng.
Williams, spoke on the advantages from an educational standpoint to be derived from a consolidated school while Jessup explained the legal phases of the project. Werking pre. sented plana for the building. At a meeting Saturday afternoon with the trustee and advisory board of the Greensfork schools Williams, with Jessup and Werking, talked over the plans for adding four rooms, an auditorium and a new heating plant to the Greensfork school. The contract for the work, which is to be completed by September, will be let

But we think that even above those should have come the name of the genius whq gatherea together those mannequins. He should furthermore be presented with a medal suitable for reward of one who has performed a great service. The story of "Lombardi, Ltd.," revolves about the name that of a
smart modiste's shoo, where Tito
Lombardi, whose genius in designing women's gowns has at last brought him fame, carried on business in his own temperamental way. Mr. Lytell has done wonders with this part, por
traying Lombardi with all the Latin
enthusiasm and spirit, yet never for a
moment striking a false note. MURRETTE William Farnum again will be seen ifi a beautiful William Fox production, "Heart Strings", at the Murrette Theatre today. It Is eaid that "Heart Strings" surpasses in some ways every other lay in which this noted star has appeared. It tells the story of a brother's great sacrifice for the little sister whom he adores. The early scenes are laid in the beautiful Laurentian Valley of Quebec. From there the action moves to New York's famous "Greenwich Village", the
abode of artists, musicians, genius and

Plans for Relief of Europe Near Completion BERLIN, Feb. 9. The plans of Herbert C. Hoover for alleviating suffering in Poland, Czecho-Slovakia, Austria and Germany are nearing completion by the constant arrival of ships at Hamburg, bearing condensed milk, beans and bacon, and, for Jewish beneficiaries, cotton-seed oil instead of bacon. The food gradually is being piled in Hamburg storehouses and when all of it has arrived careful distribution to avoid illicit trade will be begun. Major Alan G. Goldsmith, of Middletown, Ohio, agent of the American Food Relief, who has been superintending operations In Hamburg, has
' returned to Berlin to take control of
transportation of the foodstuffs, being succeeded in Hamburg by Francis C. Wickes, formerly of the American Relief Commission in Belgium.

The story is one in which laughter and tears are intermingled. Big
scenes which stir the consciousness
and play upon the heart strings of hi-
manity abound. Supporting Mr. Farnum in the cast are Gladys Cobum, Betty Hilburn, Kate Blancke, Paul Caseneuve, Robert Cain and Rowland G. Edwards. Henry Albert Phillips is the author; the scenario was written by E. Lloyd Sheldon and the play was directed by J. Gordon Edwards. her story, "The False Code," for that
sterling character actor, Frame Keenan. This is the picture showing today at the Murray Theatre.

WASHINGTON Bert Lytell again gave proof of his versatility in enacting on the screen the character of Tito Lombardi, proprietor of the smart Fifth Avenue shop of "Lambardi. Ltd.. at the Washington theatre yesterday. The story, adapted from the original stage play by Frederic and Fanny Hatton, goes
L much further than mere characteriza-
tion. It is one of the most out-of-the
beaten-track romances seen in many
a day, and one that has been excel lently produced.
Time must be taken out right here and . now to give due and honorable mention to the girls who enacted the parts of mannequins in the modiste's ehop. The name of the author of tie
